The Public Tribute

A large-scale ceremonial farewell designed with restraint, precision and dignity.

Guests arrived to a curated soundscape composed from archival audio with iconic statements layered over ambient tones, creating a quiet yet powerful introduction to a life lived in public. Inside the hall, a single large screen anchored the room. Portrait imagery emerged slowly, illuminating the features and expressions familiar to so many.

As the ceremony progressed, the screen shifted subtly to supporting visual material as stories were shared by family, colleagues, dignitaries and friends. The experience unfolded with the stillness and clarity of a gallery installation, and concluded in a shared moment of silence as the imagery dissolved into abstract light, honouring their public legacy.
