The Solemn Hymn

A quiet, elegant farewell for a family seeking tradition without heaviness.

The church was lit in warm neutrals with three large arrangements of white seasonal flowers. A lone soprano opened with an a cappella hymn, followed by a violinist accompanying spoken reflections of a life filled with music, adventures, and love. 

Guests departed through a candle-lit walkway scented subtly with gardenias (their favourite), then gathered in the church garden for simple food, drinks and gentle music. A familiar structure, reframed with restraint and contemporary clarity.
